On February 2, 2007, cities across the country went Red by illuminating buildings and monuments in red to raise awareness of women and heart disease.

Since Go Red For Women launched in 2004, cities have turned landmarks red, including the Washington Monument, Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building, the Baylor University Tower and more, during February, American Heart Month.
