Marsha Jones
Marsha Jones is the 2023-25 chairperson of the Board of the American Heart Association (AHA). She previously served as treasurer of the Association from 2019-21, and chair-elect from 2021-23.
Jones is the former executive vice president and chief diversity officer for The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. In this role, she led the development and implementation of strategies and programs that help further build and sustain a talented, diverse workforce and a culture of inclusion. Jones is a frequent national guest speaker, panelist and lecturer on the business case for diversity and the impact that inclusive cultures have on corporate innovation.
As chairperson of the Board of Directors, Jones is the chief volunteer officer responsible for the oversight of the business affairs of the AHA and presides over meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lehman College, a master of arts from Columbia University and is a graduate of The Executive Leadership Development Program of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
