Employer Resource Guide

The American Heart Association released the first Health Equity in the Workforce Employer Resource Guide in November 2023, developed in collaboration with the Deloitte Health Equity Institute and the SHRM Foundation.

The Guide is a roadmap that employers can use to advance equitable health for all employees.

In June 2024, the Association released Version 2 of the Guide, which contains the science-driven, recommended Top 10 health equity strategies and Top 10 metrics for employers to advance workforce health equity.
